wifi connected but no internet access

                     WIFI CONNECTED BUT NO INTERNET
Over the past years , we have been encountering with this problem on our laptops.

The cause may not be always the same , this means you have to try different fixes for the same problem one by one if the problem continues.

1. Lets start with router. See if other devices gets connected with the router. If no,the problem is in the router itself. If yes , the problem lies with in your laptop.
Restart the router or the connection itself that will remove the cache and fix the network issues.
IF THE ROUER AND MODEM ARE SEPERATE,
turn both off
wait for 30 seconds
turn on the modem
wait for 1 minute
turn on the router
wait few minutes
check if the internet can be acessed now
2. Problem with connection
Check for broken cables  , broken services etc. If the lights on the router is blinking or flickering this indicates a disrupted connection and you will have to contact your Internet service provider.
3.Device
Restart the device and see if the problem fixes.
If not,
Right click on  network icon and trouble shoot
windows will attempt to automatically fix the connection issue by itself.
4. DNS cache conflict
 to fix
                                     press:                  Windows+R
                                     type:                                      ipconfig/flushdns
                                    restart the computer now
5.Ip address
if 2 devices and same ip adress then conflict. our device is given a static ip address that's in DHCP range and same is assigned to another device connected especialy when our laptop  goes in to sleep mode.
to fix
                           search : cmd prompt
                            select command prompt
                           enter:    ipconfig/release
                             Enter: ipconfig/renew

                                       Or
                         Type:ipconfig/ flushdns
                          Type: nbtstat - R
                           Type:nbtstat - RR
Type: netsh int ip reset c:\reset log.txt
                          Type:netsh winsock reset
Restart your computer
6. Outdated wireless mode
older devices have 802.11b or 802.11g where router 802.11ac (latest version and fastest)
doesn't gets access to. to identify this problem

enter this ip address in the search  url address
          log in to router
